Book Review: A Field Guide to Getting Lost by Rebecca Solnit

Stars: 3.5/5

Location: All over, including Paris and California

Sub-genre: Memoir, History, Philosophy

Publication Date: 2005

A hard book to review. I did get lost in some of the stories, and Solnit certainly has a beautiful writing style. A few parts were especially insightful, and I loved whenever she wrote of land and landscapes. But it jumped around too much for me to really love it, even for a book that was supposed to make me feel lost. Worth the read as a meditation on travel and life.
