Book Review: Casita 26 by Karethe Linaae

Stars: 4/5

Location: Andalucía, Spain

Sub-genre: Memoir

Publication date: 2019

This book accomplishes perhaps one of the most important parts of travel books: inspiring wanderlust and making the reader want to travel to the places where the book takes place. I learned a little about this region of Spain, and the book was an entertaining set of stories. Sometimes the writing is a bit cheesy and the conclusions simplistic, but Linaae is a likeable narrator. I may not care as much how or if their old casita is ever restored, but I feel I know Spain and Andalucía better after reading this book. An enjoyable read.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
