Book Review: Alaska Traveler by Dana Stabenow

Alaska Traveler

Stars: 3.5/5

Location: Alaska, USA

Sub-genre: Travel essays

Publication date: 2012

Alaska Traveler has some great practical tips as well as looks into both on and off the beaten track travel destinations for potential travelers to Alaska. As would be expected from a collection of newspaper columns, some stories are much better than others and a few fall flat. Generally though, Stabenow writes with a humor and clarity that appeals to both the adventure and armchair traveler.
